1.Stockholm, Sweden

In the capital of Thailand water channels called klonguri and every day use instead of roads. At these “floating taxi” you can drive almost anywhere in the city, enjoying the sights along the way and at the same time avoiding traffic jams.

Alleppey – the famous Indian city with canals in the southern state of Kerala. Tourists here can rent wooden ships transformed into houses, and discover the beauty of this amazing place. The length of all the channels of Kerala in the south-western part of India is more than 1,400 km.

Netherlands crosses the waterway network, but some of the most beautiful are in the east of the country, in Giethoorn. Here, tourists can stroll through the fabulous places with wooden bridges and houses in a traditional style. But best of all – in absolutely no cars, people here just go cycling or boating.

Most of the newlyweds in India go on a romantic trip to Udaipur. This amazingly beautiful city is located between the four lakes and rich in ancient temples and sites associated with the Eastern myths. The locals call the city Venice of the East, and the most popular among tourists terrain – the Palace on the lake.

Suzhou is called the Venice of China. This ancient city is located in Jiangsu Province, near Shanghai. Old districts crossed by different channels and buildings, though everything here is quite different, both in Venice. However, local channels and architecture are as old and beautiful. Suzhou Grand Canal – the widest “street” that crosses the most important sights of the city.

The second largest city in Germany and the seventh – in the European Union. There are more than 2 million people, and the port of Hamburg – the 20th largest in the world. It is also called the city of bridges. It’s a great place for a holiday where you can enjoy the elegant German architecture. In addition, it is one of the cities with the highest standard of living in Europe.
